Alum Cottage Staithes – sleeps four, has sea views, a cosy log burner, Wi-Fi and free parking for two cars just yards from the cottage

Alum Cottage (the cottage with the brown door) is in the heart of the picturesque village of Staithes, North yorkshire.

Alum Cottage may appear small from the outside but it is deceptively spacious inside.  The open plan, double height dining/living area features a beamed ceiling, a beautiful natural stone feature wall, a cosy wood burning stove, spectacular views, a large comfy sofa and chair, tv (now with lots of free to air channels) Wi-fi and a dvd player. The well equipped kitchen has an electric hob, oven, toaster, microwave etc.

A step down from the living area there is a doorway that leads to a separate house toilet with a washbasin.

A second doorway leads into a cosy double bedroom with a double bed and door leading to an en-suite bathroom with bath, over bath shower, washbasin and toilet.

The upstairs has a double sized room with two single beds, feature stone wall and exposed beams. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and other bedroom furniture. A travel cot is also available but we do ask you provide your own bedding for this.  Two parking permits are provided for parking on the harbour just a few yards away so no hills to climb.

Central heating is from new electric radiators. Electricity is included in the tariff.  Bedlinen, duvets and pillows are provided but please bring towels and tea towels.
